spain has over 800,000 muslims, mostly recent immigrants from morrocco. bloody divisions have been part of the landscape for much of their history, from the crusades to the basques separatist movement. only recently has there been more stability which has brought prosperity and more inclusion as part of europe.

pray…
for unity among the saints, esp in the northern cities [Ceuta and Melilla] with a desire to reach their neighbors, the muslims
repentance for and healing from the scars of the crusades
pray for revival to sweep the Church there and flow to those around them
pray for the release of the Holy Spirit in the south, where there is a work being undertaken in Algeciras and Malaga.
pray that the muslim who come to know the Lord would still be able to share their new lives with families who often reject them.
