this african country has over 60% that would say they are christian. still, there are a lot of occult influences that creep into the Church there. also there is a a very marked difference between the north and the south. the north is much less fertile because it is dryer and only has one rainy season. this is where most of the muslims live, although there are some small fellowships scattered around. in the south, the land is much more fertile and they have two rainy seasons. this is where the majority of the christians live.
pray…
that in the small fellowships among the muslims the Lord would raise faithful men and women to maturity.
that saints who really know the Lord in the south would be anointed by the Holy Spirit to love those in the north.
for the Lord’s testimony in the midst of confrontations and violence that have increased between muslims and christians as more muslims move south, and some imams have turned to Christ.
that the Church there would learn to reject the practices that do not please the Lord
