The people of Pakistan have drawn the attention of the world many times in recent years. The Kashmir Earthquake, terrorist bombings and the assassination of Benazir Bhutto have highlighted the intense conflict and travails of pakistanis. the country was created in response to the demand for a separate muslims state from india. and the results have been governments that have been increasingly corrupt and lawless. the void of morality is being filled by shari’a law and the expression of this is hatred towards women, minorities and especially Christians. islamism has also begun to take a stranglehold on the educational system turning your hearts to hatred, and even resulting in children joining terrorist groups. pray…
that the light and love of the gospel in the embers of the few believers among the muslims would prove irresistable to the numbing of hatred
that the education system would be delivered from further poisoning of the coming generation.
that the persecuted saints there would express the life and peace and victory of our risen Lord and Saviour in the midst of all the turmoil.
